The Buffalo
Ridge Jazz Band was founded in 1994 by veteran Banjo
Showman Bob Adams,
who assembled a group of well-seasoned musicians to specialize in Classic
Traditional Jazz. The band has an
outstanding reputation for entertaining jazz fans - as well as general
audiences - with their tight sound and infectious humor, and was always a
favorite at the EARLYJAS Fall Jazz
Festival in Strongsville, Ohio. Bob Adams performed
in New Orleans, at Disney World, and with the Your Father’s Mustache Show Band before
opening Cincinnati’s famed Meier’s Café,
where he led his original Blue Chip Jazz Band. He has since retired from the daily grind
of running his own club, but continues to lead the Buffalo Ridge Jazz Band on stages all over
